Sailing book is the basic document of seafarers. It records the duration of the work at sea by indicating the dates of intrusion and embarkation. The sailing book is also the identity document of its holder. Without a sailing book it is not possible to perform the work of a seaman as well as a professional sailor. According to the provisions of the Act of 5 August 2015 on maritime labor, the sailing book is issued by the Director of the Maritime Office for a period of 10 years (5 years for students and high school students). The sailing book is issued to a person who completed the STCW integrated course and has a health certificate stating the ability to work on a ship issued by an authorized physician. IMPORTANT: In order to work on a ship, you must also have a certificate of completion of the Ship Protection Problems, which is also carried out in our center. Call to find out more.

The scope of training based on the model course program of the International Sea Organization - IMO 1.20

Prerequisites: Possession of an important certificate of training in basic fire protection or basic fire protection certificate, which expired in less than a year before the start of training, and a 6-month practice of swimming completed in the last 5 years before the training.

Syllabus: Learning how to properly use fire-fighting equipment, including: breathing apparatus depending on the type of fire and the number of people involved, the use of personal and ship safety procedures and responding to fire hazards, limiting the possibility of a fire by knowing the principles of health and safety.
Duration of the course: 7 hours
