The scope of training based on the model course program of the International Sea Organization - IMO 1.20

The course is part of the Integrated STCW Course.

The program of the course covers the basic issues of fire fighting on the ship, as well as ways to prevent fires and the use of equipment in fire-fighting. The person who completes the course will have knowledge about: causes of fires and methods of preventing fires on ships, systems and fire-fighting systems on ships, types of fire-fighting equipment, types of fixed fire-extinguishing systems, organization and techniques of fighting fires on a ship (alarms, means of communication, procedures), extinguishing media

The training includes exercises on the fire fighting range, including measuring the ignition temperature, extinguishing small and large fires using fire extinguishers and streams of water and foam, passing through a space filled with light foam, exercises with breathing apparatus in the smoke chamber, rescue and fire fighting in the engine room).

The course includes inserts and classes on the fire fighting range.

Duration: 2-4 days (Tuesday-Friday)

What to bring to the course: ID card, work suit for a training ground or something convenient to disguise.
